Brinkman Family – Summer 2025
It’s hard to even put into words the experience you gave us this week. It was the peace we truly needed. The scenery was breathtaking, the trail rides with the horses and the Wranglers were our favorite for sure and the food was fabulous. Shawn and Pax thoroughly enjoyed the Fly fishing And Piper, the rifle range is a new hobby for sure.
Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts. These are memories we are sure never to forget .
Roberts Family – Summer 2025
The peace that we all found during our time at Latigo is something that resonated with all of us. I stepped out of my comfort zone thanks to the kind, patient, encouraging attitude your wranglers have. Macy loved riding Bonnie and now wants a ping pong table at home. Billy was able to find the peace he was looking for and was honestly able to just be in his element there. Claire … absolutely thrived at Latigo. She found her love for riding again with Suerte, and blew us away with everything else she wanted to try and how well she did at some of it.
If I’m being honest, the past couple of years have been tough for our family. This trip really helped us reevaluate things and remember what is important. We actually have decided to move to a smaller town nearby and are pulling back from some of the pressures that are taking the joy away from things we once loved.

After years spent apart due to deployments and temporary assignments, it was a great blessing to create shared memories as a family. The Light Rider Foundation gave us the opportunity to unplug, unwind, and share experiences we wouldn’t have otherwise been able to enjoy. Relaxed, refreshed, and rejuvenated after an amazing week at Latigo Ranch. We had such a great time riding horses, rock climbing, and gaining cowboy skills. Thank you so much Light Rider Foundation for an incredible opportunity and time together as a family.
