We want to express our deepest gratitude for the incredible gift of Latigo Ranch. Your generosity and kindness that made this trip possible means more to our family than words could convey.
As you well know, the demands and sacrifices that come with Matts profession often leave little time for rest and quality family time. Because of Light Rider Foundation, we were given the opportunity to step away from those daily pressures and experience something truly special together as a family.
Our time at Latigo Ranch was more than just a vacation. It provided us a chance to reconnect, recharge, and create our most amazing memories yet that we will forever cherish. The beauty of the ranch, its peaceful surroundings, and the genuine hospitality we experienced provided a much-needed reminder of the importance of slowing down and appreciating life’s blessings.
Your support of first responder families demonstrates a level of compassion that is both inspiring and deeply appreciated. Knowing that there are organizations such as yours that recognize and honor the sacrifices made by law enforcement officers and their families is incredibly encouraging.
Please accept our heartfelt thank you for your generosity and for the difference you have made in our lives. This experience was a gift we will never forget, and we are profoundly grateful for the care and thoughtfulness behind it.

What an incredible week for our families at Latigo Ranch!
We spent the days horseback riding, rock climbing, rafting in the Colorado River, fishing, riding e-bikes, relaxing at the pool, watching hummingbirds, and playing an absurd amount of foosball. We unplugged, slowed down, and simply enjoyed being together.
Brinkman Family – Summer 2025
It’s hard to even put into words the experience you gave us this week. It was the peace we truly needed. The scenery was breathtaking, the trail rides with the horses and the Wranglers were our favorite for sure and the food was fabulous. Shawn and Pax thoroughly enjoyed the Fly fishing And Piper, the rifle range is a new hobby for sure.
Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts. These are memories we are sure never to forget .
Roberts Family – Summer 2025
The peace that we all found during our time at Latigo is something that resonated with all of us. I stepped out of my comfort zone thanks to the kind, patient, encouraging attitude your wranglers have. Macy loved riding Bonnie and now wants a ping pong table at home. Billy was able to find the peace he was looking for and was honestly able to just be in his element there. Claire … absolutely thrived at Latigo. She found her love for riding again with Suerte, and blew us away with everything else she wanted to try and how well she did at some of it.
If I’m being honest, the past couple of years have been tough for our family. This trip really helped us reevaluate things and remember what is important. We actually have decided to move to a smaller town nearby and are pulling back from some of the pressures that are taking the joy away from things we once loved.

The Light Rider Foundation gave us the opportunity to unplug, unwind, and share experiences we wouldn’t have otherwise been able to enjoy.
